The SMART S gas detectors have SIL2 (SIL3) and ATEX certification and comply with the stringent application requirements of the oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries as well as anywhere the idea of Safety Integrity Level is a fundamental necessity. They are designed to guarantee safe gas detection in the harshest environments. Licensed to operate in accordance with EN 50402 and IEC 61508 (Parts 1–7) standards.

PREMIUM SAFETY
LINE CONTROL PANELS

Sensitron offers the Premium line range, which consists of SMART S detectors and GALILEO & Multiscan++ control panels, to provide a comprehensive gas detection system that is completely compatible to SIL2 and SIL3 criteria. Galileo panels are SIL 3 certified in accordance with EN 50402 and IEC 61508 parts 1 to 7, and this is possible because of the hardware's complete redundancy and the wide range of self-testing capabilities. These panels, which come in a variety of models, can monitor anywhere from 8 to 256 detectors. Sensitron suggests the MULTISCAN++S2 control panel, which is certified SIL2, for applications where a less constrained SIL capability is required. All control panels have EN 60079-29-1 ATEX certification.
